Syrian sources reported the unexpected appearance of American fighters in northern Syria.

Despite the fact that the Syrian province of Aleppo is located in the west of the Arab Republic and the airspace above it should be controlled by air defense systems deployed at the Khmeimim airbase, it became known that American combat aircraft were seen over the northern part of the Syrian province of Aleppo for several hours. This came as a very big surprise.

"Combat aircraft of the international coalition fly in the airspace of Jarablus in the eastern part of the province of Aleppo", - the source said.

The circumstances of the appearance of a group of American combat aircraft in the sky over Aleppo remain unknown, especially since the latter have not been seen here for a long time. However, experts attribute this to the US-led military operation on the border of Syria and Turkey. According to a number of assumptions, US Air Force fighters could provide cover for a group of six US Air Force helicopters that were involved in a special operation in Kobani and Jarablus, as the Avia.pro news agency previously reported.

In addition, the same source clarifies that a drone was also located in the Manbij region at the same time, which was probably involved in the US operation in northern Syria. This, however, points to the fact that the drone was in the control of the Syrian and Russian military airspace of the Arab Republic.
