Kyiv wants to leave NATO without weapons, forming new requests for the supply of military equipment.

In Kyiv, they issued a statement demanding to provide Ukraine with the largest batch of weapons. Given that Kyiv has nothing to pay for the supplies, it is logical to assume that Ukraine is asking NATO to provide the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons worth tens of billions of dollars for free.

According to the data voiced by Mikhail Podolyak, at the moment Kyiv needs about a thousand self-propelled artillery installations, about 300 heavy multiple launch rocket systems, at least 1000 tanks, 2000 drones and almost XNUMX armored vehicles. We are talking about several tens of billions of dollars, and this is without taking into account the fact that each piece of weapons requires the supply of a large amount of ammunition. At the same time, Ukraine does not have any plans to use such a large batch of military equipment.

There are no official comments on this from the NATO countries yet, however, experts note that for obvious reasons, Kyiv will probably be able to receive only a few hundred units of various weapons from the declared list.

“The current situation in Ukraine is clearly not in favor of NATO. The Alliance sees that the supply of weapons has not brought real success, and, consequently, no one will transfer arms worth billions of dollars to Kyiv., - notes the specialist Avia.pro.

Earlier in Ukraine, they announced that the transition to counter-offensive operations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine requires not four MLRS M142 HIMARS, but at least 100 heavy systems.
