Satellites found military equipment and almost three dozen fortifications on Zmeiny Island.

Satellite images of Snake Island, taken on June 13, 2022, made it possible to establish that there are at least 25 various types of fortifications, trenches and camouflaged objects, as well as at least 17 units of various types of military and military equipment on the island.

Over the past few weeks, Snake Island has literally been turned into a powerful fortification and, taking into account the deployment of air defense systems on it, all approaches to the island are almost completely blocked. Moreover, according to experts, coastal missile systems can also be deployed here, which significantly increase the zone of control over ships, however, so far it has not been possible to reveal the facts of their presence on the island.

Previously, the Ukrainian military made several unsuccessful attempts to land on the island, and this is probably the reason for the increased defense of the island with additional means of protection. At the same time, a submarine was also seen in relative proximity to the island. This indicates that the situation in the region is completely under control.
