Off the coast of Odessa, a naval mine was blown up.

Despite the fact that some disparage the combat qualities of sea mines, in reality, these munitions pose very serious threats. The consequences of a powerful explosion of a sea mine were captured near Odessa. Moreover, according to experts, the power of the explosion that thundered would be enough to, if not flood the warship, then cause it very serious damage.

Video footage obtained by Avia.pro journalists shows Ukrainian servicemen detonating a sea mine remotely. As a result of an accurate hit in a mine from small arms, it detonates. The explosion was so strong that a cloud of smoke and spray rose to a height of several tens of meters.

To date, hundreds of naval mines may still remain in the western Black Sea, which were laid to prevent any attempt to approach Odessa and other areas on the Black Sea coast of Ukraine. Part of the sea mines were torn off from their places of installation, which now poses a very serious danger to civilian navigation.
