Russian cruise missiles stationed in Nicaragua are capable of destroying half of the US territory.

Against the backdrop of the fact that the President of Nicaragua announced that the troops, ships and aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation could enter to participate in training and exercises, it became known that in the event of the deployment of Russian ships and submarines in this region, the Russian military capable of successfully delivering strikes on the state of Florida, using Caliber cruise missiles, and in the case of deploying strategic aviation, strikes can be carried out on 70% of the US territory, provided that X-101 cruise missiles are used.

At the moment, it is known that the Russian side may indeed be interested in strengthening its presence in the Western Hemisphere. Moreover, given that Russia has such allies in this region as Cuba, Venezuela, and now Nicaragua, the situation for the United States may turn out to be deplorable.

Experts note that the "invitation" to the territory of Nicaragua of the Russian military could be a very serious signal for the United States, since it will be extremely problematic for the Pentagon to ensure constant control over Russian forces.
