A spy satellite has discovered a strange source of electronic radiation off the coast of Crimea.

The spacecraft discovered a strange source of radio-electronic radiation not far from the coast of Crimea (outside Russian territorial waters - ed.). According to preliminary data, we are talking about either the operation of an electronic warfare complex, or the activation of a radar station of an air defense system.

In the presented satellite image, you can see the radiation recorded by the spacecraft on June 13, 2022. When exploring this area with another spacecraft, it was not possible to identify traces of the presence of ships or surface objects that could be sources of radio-electronic radiation, and therefore it was suggested that it could be a submarine or an aircraft.

Experts note that the signal is directional, but at the same time it is relatively weak, which raised a number of questions as to whether it comes from an underwater object, such as a submarine, or whether it could be a semi-active radar operation.

At the moment, it is known that the approaches to the Crimea are carefully controlled due to the existing risks and provocations.
