In Belarus, they noticed activity at the preserved secret nuclear facility of the USSR

In Belarus, strange activity has been noticed at an abandoned secret nuclear facility of the USSR.

Against the background of the statement of the European Parliament that nuclear weapons could be transferred to Ukraine, it became known about strange activity at one of the largest nuclear facilities of the Soviet era in neighboring Belarus. According to sources, some special inspection of the facility is being carried out. This raised a number of questions, especially against the backdrop of recent statements by Lukashenko that nuclear weapons could be deployed on the territory of the country, since the infrastructure of a number of facilities is still preserved.

According to Belarusian sources, two days ago, the activity of a Mi-8 helicopter of the Air Force of the Republic of Belarus was recorded in the area of \u369b\u12bthe settlement of Cheretyanka (Zhitkovichi district, Gomel region), where a regiment of strategic missile forces (RVSN) was stationed in Soviet times - the 10th Guards Missile Vladimir-Volynsky Order of Bohdan Khmelnitsky Regiment. The Strategic Missile Forces regiment included two divisions equipped with eight launchers for R-2 ground-based single-stage liquid-propellant ballistic missiles. In addition, the Soviet RSD-XNUMX Pioneer mobile ground-based missile system and the RT-XNUMXPM Topol strategic missile system were also based here.

At the moment, there are no details on this subject, however, experts draw attention to the fact that interest in the former nuclear facility appeared after Europe began to increase the presence of NATO troops near the borders of Belarus and Russia, as well as after. how the European Parliament proposed to transfer nuclear weapons to Ukraine.
