APU in one week lost 10 aircraft, 170 howitzers and 103 tanks

The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the week have been calculated.

Over the past week, the Ukrainian military has suffered very serious losses. As it became known, in just seven days, the Ukrainian military lost 10 combat aircraft, more than a hundred tanks and almost two hundred units of field artillery and mortars. Such information is provided by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

According to data published by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, according to information on the morning of June 17, 2022, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were:

  • 205 aircraft;
  • 131 helicopters;
  • 1233 unmanned aerial vehicles;
  • 342 anti-aircraft missile systems;
  • 3587 tanks and armored fighting vehicles;
  • 539 multiple launch rocket systems;
  • 2013 field artillery pieces and mortars;
  • 3658 units of special military equipment and motor vehicles.

A week earlier, as of the morning of June 10, 2022, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the special military operation were:

  • 195 aircraft;
  • 130 helicopters;
  • 1168 unmanned aerial vehicles;

  • 3484 tanks and armored fighting vehicles;
  • 499 multiple launch rocket systems;
  • 1843 field artillery and mortars;
  • 3528 units of special military equipment and motor vehicles.

In fact, in just a week, the Ukrainian Air Force lost 10 combat aircraft and one helicopter. The most serious losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were in artillery. In particular, taking into account the data presented, we are talking about the destruction of 170 howitzers, self-propelled guns and mortars by the Russian military. Losses in the armored forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also indicate that the situation is quite difficult.

Today, a lot of questions arise regarding exactly how many more combat aircraft and helicopters are in service with Ukraine, since the number of destroyed combat vehicles clearly exceeds the initial data on the composition of the Ukrainian Air Force. In particular, according to the Russian Defense Ministry, as of February 24, the Ukrainian Air Force was armed with 152 aircraft.
