The Lithuanian Foreign Ministry announced the shipment of special military equipment to Ukraine to unblock ports.

At the moment, there are no details on this subject, however, we may well be talking about missile weapons, especially against the background of the fact that such weapons were supplied by a European country and were promised to be supplied by the United States. The head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry stressed that other countries also supplied weapons to unblock Ukrainian ports, however, he refused to name these states.

“To open ports in the south of Ukraine, it needs military equipment. Part of it is already in the process of delivery. Unfortunately, there is no other way to unblock ports. If the countries of Europe provide the necessary equipment, then the issue of the food crisis will be resolved very quickly.”, - said the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Lithuania, Gabrielius Landsbergis.

Experts note that Lithuania goes to a very serious escalation. Moreover, this is manifested not only in the supply of weapons to Ukraine, but also in an attempt to arrange a blockade of the Kaliningrad region. In response, the Russian side threatened to use drastic measures.

“The head of the Federation Council Commission for the Protection of Sovereignty Andrey Klimov said that the European Union needs to correct the situation with the blockade of Kaliningrad, or Russia will have a free hand to resolve the issue of transit by any means. According to him, NATO, through the hands of Lithuania, begins a blockade of the Russian region, this is direct aggression against Russia, forcing them to resort to self-defense.”- RIA Novosti reports.
