None of the missiles fired by the Armed Forces of Ukraine could cause damage to Zmeiny Island.

After it became known about the shelling of Serpents' Island a day ago, it became known that none of the missiles fired by the Ukrainian military could cause any significant destructive effect to the island and its infrastructure. This is evidenced by satellite images, according to which, during the day, not a single fire was recorded on the island.

Sources report that Zmeiny Island was indeed subjected to rocket fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. However, it is noted that none of the missiles could not reach the island - some of them, apparently, were successfully shot down by air defense systems deployed on the island, while most fell into the water.

In the presented satellite image, taken by a spacecraft designed to detect fires, you can see that not a single fire has been recorded on the territory of the island. This indicates the fact that no significant damage has been done to the island. To the northeast of the island, you can see that a fire was recorded on the tower of Chernomorneftegaz, however, the island itself was not damaged during the attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to experts, those claps that were heard by the inhabitants of the Odessa region are only evidence of the work of air defense systems.
