In the Kramatorsk area, a Ukrainian Air Force helicopter was shot down, evacuating the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Mi-8VT helicopter belonging to the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down near Kramatorsk. The rotary-winged combat vehicle was used to evacuate the Ukrainian military from Kramatorsk, however, during the next flight, it was successfully detected and shot down, which, thereby, deprived the Ukrainian military of a bridge to this region.

At the moment, it is known that the Mi-8VT helicopter of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down on June 16 during the next flight in this direction. Apparently, the combat helicopter was hit by fire from the ground and subsequently crashed, as evidenced by the fact that neither the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation nor the Ukrainian military reported about the defeat of the rotorcraft. The fact that the aircraft was shot down is evidenced by the message that appeared about the death of the crew members of this rotorcraft, where the details of what happened were announced.

Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are experiencing extremely serious difficulties in this area, and taking into account the deployment of additional air defense systems, the Ukrainian military may be completely left without an air transport corridor in this region, as happened earlier in Mariupol.
